I’m a candid specialist.
I take photos of people being themselves in the best light possible. My goal is to capture an artistic version of what the day really felt like so it can be relived forever. Weddings are a venue for connecting with the people you love most, so I photograph everyone experiencing the day, not just the couple.
My presence is unobtrusive but aware.
I give room for people to relax, to enjoy the day for what it is: a personal celebration and not a photo shoot. Years of wedding experiences have taught me how to maximize photographic opportunities while minimizing distractions. I’ve even been called a good hang.
I emphasize an editorial vibe.
I’m addicted to interesting light and love to put people where they look most confident and beautiful. It’s a method for making lovely portraits without contrived “weddingy” poses.
My editing style embraces color.
Though I certainly love black and white, when I shoot images in color I intend for them to express the vibrancy of the natural world around us. My colors, whether shot on Fuji or not, are influenced by those colors I saw when I first picked up a camera as a teenager.
The pictures speak for themselves as they are truly stunning. Even our wedding party and family members continue to talk about how incredible he was, months later! We cannot recommend him highly enough; thank you, Bryan, for documenting our perfect day and for being a fun part of it!
