Engagement sessions are my primary way to connect with new clients. We tend to make a remarkable amount of connection in a couple hours and we finish often having learned a great deal about each other (sorry if I’ve overshared on my opinions about ideal avocado storage).

My style prizes movement, conversation, and variety in order to avoid the clammy, stuffy nature of getting your picture taken for the first time in (forever)…? I love to learn about my clients and quickly escalate from small talk to medium talk. When we’re asked to think on our feet, it’s difficult not to be ourselves.

I’m particularly proud of this first image of David genuinely laughing. I have no memory of what I said, but I did learn that David is not an easy get, so this one I cherish.
