The single greatest gift to a photographer is subjects who lean into their feelings and let them show. Some people are naturally demonstrative like Kyra and others are more reserved like Andrew. And that’s okay. All I advise to the reserved folks is when you get that feeling, or that idea of how to reach out to someone, don’t overthink it. Just lean in and show it, whatever it is. The recipient will love it and I’ll be patiently waiting for it. Andrew did just that. It was a delight to watch him and everyone around him warm up as the night went along.
