I’m so lucky to get to do this–to be invited into this quiet, beautiful space with only the closest of family.
And I’m so happy to do it for these people, who couldn’t take the standard “couple photos” seriously–even my abbreviated version. I saw what was happening and made a game of trying to get Hayley to look serious for even one second. She could not. Literally could not. There was too much joy. I’m so grateful that the joy was specifically what I was hired to capture.
I swear it’s not the rain that reminded me of Hayley and Dylan’s celebration on the second day— a moist rager of a party (I know Moist Rager is a gross description, but it’s a good metal band name and I think it needs to be out in the world). Nope, I love to share this because there’s no better proof that the magic is in the unpredictable.
